On the iCUE 4000X, we can see this RGB controller behind the case.

The 4000D Airflow does not have a Corsair Node RGB controller, as its fans are without RGB. The 4000D Airflow comes with 2 Airflow fans without lighting, and the iCUE 4000X RGB comes with 3 RGB Airflow fans. In the RGB model, there are 3 Airguide RGB fans and all of them are attached to the front of the case. In the Airflow model, there are two unlit Airguide fans, one in front of the case and one at the back of the case. As far as we understand, Corsair does not sell these fans separately, but of course that could change in the future. For this, behind the fan frame is a design that we haven’t seen in previous Corsair fans. An interesting detail is that the model without RGB is 3-pin and DC, while RGB models are controlled by 4-pin and PWM.Īs you can see from the name, the humor of these fans is that they can move the air away in a directional way by preventing the formation of vortices. These fans are equipped with RGB in the 4000 Airflow model and RGB illuminated version in the iCUE 4000X model.

With the 4000 series cases, we encounter a fan model that we saw for the first time from Corsair: Air Guide. You do not need to separate the screws from the cover while opening the covers, you can open the covers by loosening a little to stay on the cover. In addition, the covers are more protected against risks such as scratching, breaking and cracking. I welcomed this change because you no longer have to touch the glass to open the cover and leave marks on the glass with the oil from your fingers. Steel sheets are attached to both sides of the glasses and the part of the cover that passes to the frame during assembly is these steel sheets. In this series, we see that the designs of the side doors with darkened tempered glass have also been changed. Under this veiled entrance, we see the Corsair text. Instead of conventional rubber cable passageways, a single longitudinal cable hole is placed here, with the entrance covered.

When we look inside the case, we again see that efforts have been made in cable management. In addition, the upper part is inclined towards the front of the case in order to easily carry the cables coming from the input and output slots in front of the case through this channel. With these, you can make a neat and neat cable management. There are 3 more of these cable ties for the accessory box inside the hard disk cage. Attached to this channel comes 3 clip-and-hook cable ties. This channel is 3 cm wide and 30 cm high. In the Corsair 4000 series, this gap made 25 mm and placed a plastic duct in which you can put the cables. The gap between the back of the motherboard and the back cover is important to neatly route the thick power cables of the graphics card, motherboard and processor. In other words, this type A socket is not different from the previous USB 3.0 ports in terms of technology. However, Corsair used the yellow color only as a cosmetic. According to the standard among manufacturers, the yellow USB sockets are the sockets that can provide energy in sleep mode. We see that 2 USB 3.0 type A sockets are replaced by one USB 3.0 type A and one USB 3.1 type C socket.Īnother point that caught our attention was that the type A socket was yellow. Again, there is a combo 3.5 mm audio jack that we are used to seeing. The power and reset keys here are no different from the current Corsair iCUE cases we have recently reviewed. I want to start with one of the common points of the series, the front entry-exit panel. The 4000D model is almost the same as the 4000D Airflow, the only difference is the mesh in the Airflow model. In this video, we will examine the 4000D Airflow and iCUE 4000X RGB from these three cases. Although the 4000 series is basically based on a common case pattern, these are Mid Tower cases that are distinguished by some important nuances. These cases contain many innovations that will benefit users who are considering building systems in the near future.Ĭorsair announced 3 new models under its 4000 series 4000D, 4000D Airflow and iCUE 4000X RGB. Corsair is here with a new case series called the 4000 series.
