On the iCUE 4000X, we can see this RGB controller behind the case.
The 4000D Airflow does not have a Corsair Node RGB controller, as its fans are without RGB. The 4000D Airflow comes with 2 Airflow fans without lighting, and the iCUE 4000X RGB comes with 3 RGB Airflow fans. In the RGB model, there are 3 Airguide RGB fans and all of them are attached to the front of the case. In the Airflow model, there are two unlit Airguide fans, one in front of the case and one at the back of the case. As far as we understand, Corsair does not sell these fans separately, but of course that could change in the future. For this, behind the fan frame is a design that we haven’t seen in previous Corsair fans. An interesting detail is that the model without RGB is 3-pin and DC, while RGB models are controlled by 4-pin and PWM.Īs you can see from the name, the humor of these fans is that they can move the air away in a directional way by preventing the formation of vortices. These fans are equipped with RGB in the 4000 Airflow model and RGB illuminated version in the iCUE 4000X model.
4000d airflow series#
With the 4000 series cases, we encounter a fan model that we saw for the first time from Corsair: Air Guide.
